Project description: The auxiliary maintenance area project of Urumqi Airport reconstruction and expansion project has also been completed. The total land area of the project is 41,800 square meters, of which the maintenance hangar construction area is 16,700 square meters, using reinforced concrete composite columns and steel grid structure, steel grid span of 144 meters, is a very large span steel grid structure in Xinjiang, can accommodate two Boeing 787-9 or six Boeing 737-800 aircraft at the same time for maintenance.

The reconstruction and expansion project of Urumqi Airport, which started in October 2019, is a key construction project of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan" and a key project of the construction of the transportation hub center in the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
